On Thursday, June 5th, 2025, Gotion High-Tech Indonesia proudly took part in the First Assembly Vehicle Ceremony for the launch of Polytron Electric Vehicles G3 & G3+, held at the Handal Facility in Purwakarta, Indonesia. This milestone event marked a significant achievement in Indonesia’s journey toward sustainable and innovative mobility.
The ceremony celebrated the successful collaboration between Polytron, PT. Handal Indonesia Motor, Skywell, and Gotion High-Tech Indonesia. The event featured a ceremonial procession, demo of auto parking features, a facility line tour, and test drives on the dedicated testing track, offering attendees a firsthand experience of the future of electric mobility.
A standout feature of the G3 & G3+ is the integration of Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS)—a model that significantly reduces the vehicle’s upfront cost while offering a lifetime battery warranty. This innovation enhances EV affordability and accessibility for a broader segment of the population.
Additionally, with a local content (TKDN) level of 40%, this initiative directly supports the growth of Indonesia’s domestic manufacturing sector, aligning with national efforts to strengthen local industry and supply chains.
