Ministry of Transportation Visits Gotion High-Tech Indonesia’s Manufacturing Facility in Bogor
Bogor, May 12 2026 — Gotion High Tech Indonesia welcomed an official site visit from the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia to its electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility in Bogor, West Java.
The visit was part of the working agenda of the Expert Staff for Technology and Energy of the Ministry of Transportation, aimed at supporting the acceleration of Indonesia’s battery-based electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem and enhancing the digitalization of technology and energy monitoring within the public transportation sector.
During the visit, representatives from the Ministry conducted a direct observation of Gotion High-Tech Indonesia’s electric vehicle battery production processes and Energy Storage System (ESS) manufacturing operations. The session also included discussions regarding battery technology development, manufacturing capabilities, and the role of industry in supporting Indonesia’s energy transition initiatives.
