Gotion Goes Green: Together for a Greener Tomorrow
At Gotion High-Tech Indonesia, sustainability is not only reflected in the products and technologies we develop, but also in the actions we take within our workplaces and communities. On September 18, 2026, employees across Gotion’s Jakarta, Bogor, and Cikarang sites came together for “Gotion Goes Green,” an ESG initiative designed to strengthen environmental awareness and encourage sustainable action among employees.
One of the key activities was a tree planting session held at the Bogor Factory, bringing together company leaders and employees to take a simple but tangible step toward a greener environment.
Turning ESG Awareness into Action
The tree planting activity was part of Gotion High-Tech Indonesia’s broader ESG initiative, which aims to encourage employees to understand that sustainability can begin with everyday actions.
For the Indonesia team, planting trees provided an opportunity to translate environmental awareness into something visible and lasting. While a single tree may seem like a small contribution, the activity represented a collective commitment to taking action for the environment.
Company leaders and employees participated together in the activity at the Bogor Factory, creating an opportunity for people from different roles and levels of the organization to work toward a shared purpose.
Beyond the activity itself, the initiative also served as a reminder that ESG is not solely the responsibility of a particular department or team. Building a more sustainable workplace requires participation across the organization.
Although the tree planting activity took place at the Bogor Factory, “Gotion Goes Green” was designed as a company-wide ESG initiative involving Gotion’s Jakarta, Bogor, and Cikarang sites.
The program also included the Lights-Off Initiative, encouraging employees across the three locations to switch off unnecessary lights in their workspaces and become more conscious of daily energy consumption. The initiative connected a simple workplace habit with a broader conversation about energy efficiency and responsible resource use.
An ESG sharing session was also conducted simultaneously across the three sites, with employees able to participate both in person and online. During the session, the APAC ESG Team shared insights on ESG and sustainability practices, followed by an interactive ESG quiz that encouraged employees to learn and engage with key sustainability topics.
Together, these activities created a broader ESG experience — combining practical environmental action, workplace awareness, and knowledge sharing.
Growing a Culture of Sustainability
For Gotion High-Tech Indonesia, the value of “Gotion Goes Green” extends beyond the day of the event. The initiative provided an opportunity to strengthen employees’ understanding of ESG and encourage them to consider how their daily actions can contribute to a more sustainable workplace.
