PLN Delegation Visits Gotion High-Tech to Explore New Opportunities for Green Energy Cooperation
On October 21–22, 2026, a delegation from Indonesia’s state-owned electricity company, PT PLN, led by Executive Vice President Basuki Widodo and accompanied by Dadan Gunawan Muhammad, Special Assistant to Chairman Burhanuddin Abdullah, visited Gotion High-Tech’s Shanghai Headquarters. The delegation was warmly received by Xiong Yonghua, General Manager of Gotion High-Tech’s Shanghai Base; Qu Fengjun, General Manager of Gotion High-Tech Indonesia; Xu Wenjia, General Manager of the Southeast Asia Marketing Department; Tong Shikai, Director of the Marketing Center of Gotion High-Tech Indonesia; and other relevant business representatives.
During the visit, both parties held in-depth discussions on Indonesia’s energy transition, electric vehicle industry development, energy storage systems, and renewable energy applications, exploring potential opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the meeting, Gotion High-Tech introduced its technological strengths and business operations in power batteries, energy storage batteries, global R&D capabilities, and vertically integrated industrial chains. Particular emphasis was placed on its energy storage system safety technologies, global project experience, and localized manufacturing capabilities in Indonesia, demonstrating the company’s comprehensive technological expertise and global service capabilities in the new energy sector.
The PLN delegation shared insights into Indonesia’s energy development plans and electricity infrastructure requirements. As Indonesia accelerates its energy transition, advances its electric vehicle industry, and expands electrification in remote areas, new energy technologies and energy storage systems are expected to offer significant growth opportunities. Both parties discussed potential areas of cooperation, including grid-scale energy storage, renewable energy integration with energy storage, rural electrification, and the localization of the new energy industry.
Gotion High-Tech expressed its commitment to leveraging its strengths in battery technology R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and global industrial deployment to address Indonesia’s evolving energy needs. The company aims to provide technological and product support for the development of local electricity infrastructure and the new energy industry. The PLN delegation recognized Gotion High-Tech’s technological capabilities and industrial presence, expressing its interest in strengthening technical exchanges and business coordination to explore further practical cooperation opportunities.
