Fostering Future Energy Leaders: Gotion Indonesia Hosts Students from UI and HKUST

On July 29, 2025, Gotion High-Tech Indonesia welcomed students and faculty members from Universitas Indonesia and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) for an industrial visit. The activity offered a valuable opportunity for participants to explore real-world applications of electric vehicle (EV) battery technologies, energy storage systems, and approaches to talent development in the green energy sector.

The visit began with a company presentation, where the Gotion Indonesia team shared insights into the company’s global expansion, strategic localization in Indonesia, and commitment to supporting the country’s energy transition. The session continued with an engaging Q&A, where students raised thoughtful questions on EV market policies, production capacity planning, supply chain integration, and sustainability.

Gotion’s engineers and professionals responded with in-depth technical insights, resulting in an informative and meaningful exchange between academia and industry.

Following the discussion, participants toured the production facilities—including automated battery assembly lines and quality control stations. Guided by local staff, the students gained firsthand exposure to Indonesia’s advanced battery manufacturing processes and a deeper understanding of Gotion’s role in supporting local industrial growth.
