Government Delegation Visits Gotion High-Tech Indonesia’s Bogor Facility to Review Electric Motorcycle Battery Production

On April 9, 2026, Gotion High-Tech Indonesia welcomed a government delegation to its Bogor plant and office. The delegation included a Special Staff to the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, along with representatives from the Center for Survey and Testing of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (KEBTKE).
The visit aimed to review Gotion’s production facilities, particularly its capabilities in manufacturing battery systems for electric motorcycles. This initiative is in line with the Indonesian government’s direction to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles, including the national program for converting conventional motorcycles into electric ones.

This effort also aligns with the broader national vision outlined by President Prabowo Subianto, who has highlighted a long-term scenario to gradually convert all conventional motorcycles into electric vehicles as part of Indonesia’s energy transition strategy.
During the visit, the delegation toured the production lines and observed the battery assembly processes. The visit also included an overview of Gotion’s technology, manufacturing standards, and quality control systems in supporting electric mobility solutions.
Gotion High-Tech Indonesia continues to strengthen its role in supporting Indonesia’s transition toward sustainable transportation through the development of reliable and efficient battery solutions.
