Sunra and Gotion Inspires Clean Mobility at SMKN 55 Jakarta

Electric Motorcycles: Myth or Fact and the Future Ahead

On June 25, 2025, Gotion High-Tech Indonesia and Sunra teamed up to host an educational event titled “Electric Motorcycles: Myth or Fact and the Future Ahead” at SMKN 55 Jakarta. This initiative was part of a broader campaign to increase public understanding of electric vehicle (EV) technology and to prepare Indonesia’s younger generation for a future shaped by sustainable innovation.

Despite growing awareness of electric vehicles, many myths and misconceptions still linger — from doubts about performance and safety to concerns over battery life and charging infrastructure. This event sought to address those concerns head-on.

Through a lively and interactive seminar, students and teachers were invited to explore the facts about electric motorcycles. Experts from Gotion and Sunra provided clear explanations on how EV technology works, its benefits over traditional fuel-powered vehicles, and why it plays a critical role in reducing carbon emissions and combatting climate change.

In addition to the educational talk, the event featured a live test ride session with Sunra’s electric vehicles units. Students had the opportunity to see and feel for themselves how smooth, quiet, and responsive electric mobility can be.

The event also included a quiz session with exciting prizes, designed to reinforce key messages in a fun and memorable way. The atmosphere was filled with energy and curiosity, as students enthusiastically engaged with the materials and asked thoughtful questions about EV technology and its potential in Indonesia.

This event was a small but meaningful step in that direction — empowering students with knowledge, igniting their curiosity, and showing them how they can be part of the solution for a greener, more responsible Indonesia.

By bringing real-world EV experiences directly to schools, both Gotion and Sunra hope to inspire a generation that sees clean energy not as a distant ideal, but as a practical and achievable future.

“Electric Motorcycles: Myth or Fact and the Future Ahead” is more than just a title — it’s a question that students are now better prepared to answer. And with their growing awareness and engagement, the future of Indonesia’s mobility looks not only electric, but also bright.
